Take a moment and consider your place
in the bigger scheme of things~
-click any to enlarge-
And while that's indeed illuminating (sorry).... it's a
Jupiter only one pixel on that scale. But this behemoth Arcturus
-20 to 30x the Sun's size and 110x as bright-
is just 5th largest below...our own sun down to a single pixel:
Anteres is the 15th brightest star in the sky, and over 1000 light-years away.
Feeling your place yet?
Now try to wrap your mind around this: the photo below was taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, an ultra-deep-field infrared shot of countless entire galaxies, billions and billions of light-years away...
And here is a zoom of just one of just the darkest regions in the above photo...
HUMBLING- isn't it?
And yet, The Creator knows how many hairs are on your head;
and not even a single sparrow dies without Him taking note (Matthew 10:29-31)... so how big are your problems, really...?
Be a friend to yourself... keep life in perspective
-h/t Kirby-
Arcturus, how big is earth, universe, don't sweat the small stuff, hubble xxxArcturus, don't sweat the small stuff, hubble how big is earth, universe, don't sweat the small stuff
