So, wasn’t this legislation developed to take the place of prior legislation that was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court? You know, the same one the President referred to when rudely calling out members of the Supreme Court who were in attendance at his last state of the union address? And where most of the democrat members of congress stood and applauded in their faces?
I would say that this is a hard SLAP across the Presidents smug mug and a total rebuke of the democrats power grab!

Exactly. This is what LL was talking about in a prior comment. Just like Obama keeps placing new oil drilling moratoriums after they are ruled illegal by the courts, so he is trying to place restrictions on free speech when they have been struck down by the Supreme Court.
Even Diane Feinstein stood against final passage of this bill (did she read the email I sent her last night about it?). I reminded her of her oath to the Constitution.
Either way, the RINOs held the line. Every last one of them, including Scott Brown. Whew! That was a close one!

Stacy at The Other McCain is following the Christine O'Donnell for Senate campaign in Delaware. The conservative upstart has entered a primary bid to deny "King RINO" establishment Republican Mike Castle... a man who's voted with the Dems 70% of the time.
Every conservative says they hates RINOs. How do you stop two-faced backstabbers like Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist from taking over the GOP and giving voters a choice between a liberal Democrat and a liberal Republican?
What you need is a RINO killer, and they’ve got one in Delaware named Christine O'Donnell. She’s taking on the GOP establishment’s hand-picked RINO choice, Mike Castle. She was recently interviewed at RedState:
"This is a fight for the heart and soul of not only the Country but the Republican party as well. We’re fighting against the worst “Republican” in recent memory. He has sided with the Democrats 70% of the time, and gets a failing grade from a host of organizations including the NRA, CFG, and many others.
Are we really satisfied with a liberal politician solely because he has an “R” after his name? I don’t think so. And, to take him out, we need to come together, get out the message, get people to the polls, and get the donations we’ll need to cross the state of Delaware to educate people on what is really at stake in this race."
