Why Should You Care About Geert Wilders' Trial in The Netherlands?

Because the true name of the game is Muslim intimidation of a divided, squabbling, and spineless West... while they
-along with unwitting fifth-columnist morons of our Left- destroy the few brave individuals still actually willing to speak-out in our defense...

As the Dutch government attempts to shut-down Wilders by going after him in court with open-to-interpretation "hate crime" charges, it's hard not to recall litigious one-worlder Barack Obama's recent legal attempts to crush the will of not just Governor Jan Brewer but 70% of her electorate while aiding and abetting foreign invaders at our expense... then dismissing those expressing concern as ill-informed bigots:

Freedom: What do the trial of a Dutch politician, multiple terrorist threats in Western Europe and a speech by a Mideast tyrant have in common?

Plenty, if you're a citizen of the West. It's all part of a game of intimidation.

On Monday, the trial for Dutch anti-immigration politician Geert Wilders began. His odious crime? Speaking out against the Netherlands' open-border immigration policies, which have been blamed for letting hundreds of thousands of Muslims move in without assimilating into Dutch society.

The Dutch government charges Wilders with the Orwellian crime of "hate speech." For this, Wilders could spend a year in prison.

You don't have to agree with Wilders or like what he says... to see that this trial is bad for Western democracy.

Wilders has been charged for saying things such as "I've had enough of Islam in the Netherlands; let not one more Muslim immigrate."

Intolerant? Maybe. But certainly it's legitimate to question whether the Netherlands' longtime policy of encouraging large numbers of unassimilable Islamic immigrants into a country whose liberal culture and tradition of openness they don't respect is a good one.

As for Wilders, he is certainly no more intolerant than those Islamists across Europe who now intimidate Euro-politicians by threatening them with death. In the Netherlands alone, filmmaker Theo Van Gogh (2004) and Dutch sociologist and politician Pim Fortuyn (2002) were murdered by Islamists or open-borders advocates.

The West's longstanding democratic tradition of free expression means nothing if it doesn't protect unpopular speech. Wilders happens to be a leader of the Freedom Party, which finished third in June's Dutch elections. By trying Wilders, the Dutch government is really trying to silence Wilders' estimated 1.5 million followers.

By the way, if you think Wilders' remarks were intemperate, here's what Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said just this weekend to the West's leaders, according to Reuters: "May the undertaker bury you, your table and your body, which has soiled the world." Now that's hate speech.

When Wilders recently tried to visit Britain, he was denied entry. Ahmadinejad, on the other hand, who has repeatedly called for the death of the West, just last month was let into the U.S. to attend a United Nations confab and received warm applause for his hate-filled speech in which he accused the U.S. of staging 9/11.

Much of the European Continent today is on high alert over a possible terrorist attack by — you guessed it — Islamic extremists.

Geert Wilders is not a racist, a fascist, or anything of the sort... he's just a stand-up-guy who's not willing to purport BS as truth in the name of political correctness, actually cares about what's being done to his nation and culture, has the common sense to recognize -and courage to confront- a threat when he sees one...

Individual Donated 1.5 Million For Arizona Defense Fund

PHOENIX -- A Wyoming man has given more than $1.5 million to help defend Arizona's controversial immigration enforcement measure in court, Gov. Jan Brewer's office said Thursday.

The contribution from Timothy Mellon of Saratoga is the largest to Brewer's defense fund, which has amassed more than $3.6 million from 41,000 donors nationwide. Mellon could not immediately be reached for comment.

The latest legal bills released Thursday show Brewer's office has spent more than $440,000 for the first two months of defending the law.

Luvinusa commented: "What a farce. The feds are using our tax dollars, from the 70% of U.S. citizens that support Arizona, to sue Arizona and make that same 70% donate personal dollars to defend against our own tax dollars being used against us. A classic example of "taxation without representation", which was the fundamental cause of the Revolutionary War. History does have a way of repeating itself. No wonder these sorry bastards are about to get flattened in November."

Obama Complains to UN About Arizona, Jan Brewer Objects

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer called on Hillary Clinton to remove language from the recent report to the UN Human Rights Council that characterized S.B.1070 as human rights abuse, and the Obama administration's court challenge as a defense of human rights.

Really? Controlling our border is now a human rights violation? What about OUR human rights not to be overrun by criminals breaking our laws. What America's right to be a country. Can we even be a country without borders? Don't we have a right to make decisions about immigration based on what is good for America? I swear Obama is an internationalist, not an American. Too many years being raised overseas, I guess.

Arizona GOP Gov. Jan Brewer is calling on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to remove a reference to her state’s immigration law from a report on human rights.

In a required report to the United Nations Human Rights Council, the State Department said the federal government's challenge to the Arizona law that requires police to check the immigration status of anyone they stop or detain was an example of how the United States is protecting human rights.

"A recent Arizona law, S.B. 1070, has generated significant attention and debate at home and around the world," the report read. "The issue is being addressed in a court action that argues that the federal government has the authority to set and enforce immigration law. That action is ongoing; parts of the law are currently enjoined."...

“The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Brewer wrote. “Human rights as guaranteed by the United States and Arizona Constitutions are expressly protected in S.B. 1070 and defended vigorously by my administration.”

“If the federal government secured the entire border and enforced our immigration laws, these human rights problems would not be occurring for citizens, legal residents and illegal immigrants,” she added.

Clinton-appointed Federal Judge issued a preliminary injunction against key portions of SB1070... but only until it goes to trial, and then likely all the way to the Supreme Court-

In-keeping with the ongoing Obama Administration theme of forcing-through a radical Leftist agenda that goes against the interest of the country -as well as the wishes of the majority- Chairman Zero's unjust war on Arizona's attempt to defend itself was handed a small victory yesterday: an liberal, activist judge issued a temporary injunction that blocks a number of existing laws from being enforced, regardless of the heavy price paid by Arizonans... and all Americans.

Interestingly, Judge Susan Bolton's dubious decision includes blocking Arizona police from demanding proof of citizenship from those apprehended re. criminal activity... causing Laura Ingraham to wonder aloud if Judge Bolton is even aware that Federal law requires migrants to carry citizenship papers with them at all times... just like most sane, functioning countries.

Arizona's measured attempt to defend itself from foreign invasion was gutted today by Clinton-appointed apparatchik Susan Bolton, using legal "reasoning" that was probably not even intended to be taken seriously.

A state that is facing economic and societal collapse due to Mexican colonization is officially not permitted to enforce immigration law.

We are moving into the end game now — the point where America's collectivist enemies dismantle the country.Imagine an electoral map with the entire Southwest turned from mostly red to deep blue, inhabited predominantly by unskilled Third World peasants on welfare. The people running our government have imagined it.

They know what it will mean: one-party socialist rule. Our country will either rot to death or be torn apart in civil war, but that's a price the Left is more than willing to pay to consolidate power. Anyone who has spent time around liberals knows how much they hate America.
