This is my third venture into commercial critiques. The first was State Farm commercial with the Black couple. The second was the Plant Fines with I pick things up and put them down.

And this one. I think this commercial is genuinely funny. But, then I wondered why did I laugh? If these were tow guys just talking it wouldn’t work. But, when it becomes zany and over the top, it’s obvious the guys are very Gay. Is it legit because the guys are Gay? And if it is, isn’t this commercial offensive to some Gays?

I especially like the guy on the right who’s a bit more flamboyant than the other

It’s a pretty funny commercial.

Word to the wise.

Don’t ever owe Jack Herbst any money! Seriously, this is something you'd see in a movie.

Daily Mail reports that when Jack Herbst and his neighbor Ron Morphis fell out over an $80 debt, there was only one course of action.

Herbst, 63, drove a front-end loader from his home in Yoder, Colorado, around to Mr Morphis's house - and kept driving straight through the middle of it.

Police have arrested Herbst on suspicion of causing an estimated $250,000 in damages and, while it is up to the courts to decide whether Herbst is guilty of the crime, police say they have fairly compelling evidence.

The victim's sister, Loranne McLaughlin, told AOL News that the whole thing kicked off after her brother had agreed to buy a trailer from Herbst for $400 - but had only paid $320.

She says Mr Morphis was planning to pay the rest but earlier this week Herbst allegedly left a voice mail on Mr Morphis's phone saying: 'I want my $80 or I'm going to flatten everything.'

On Wednesday, Mr Morphis returned from work to his home in Bellemont Road - to discover he no longer had much of a home to return to.

This ad is pretty funny!

Only Liberals can make the act of running away from responsibility, a heroic thing to do. What do you expect from people like this? They’re the party that represents, for the most part, people that don’t accept responsibility for anything. In more blunt language, they are the party of the fuck ups and degenerates in this country that always have an excuse as to why they never amounted to anything in this country.

Or they’re actually successful, but feel so guilty about their comfortable life, they feel the need to look out for the quote, “little guy” that can’t make it in life without their help.

Hot Air reports that Cheeky link bait aimed at conservative blogs or earnest ad campaign targeting progressives?

It’s the former for the moment, but let’s face it — if the fleebaggers succeed in waiting Scott Walker out and getting the collective bargaining bill killed, they’ll be instantly beatified on the left. Tales of their exploits shall be passed down in hushed tones from one generation of six-figure-income unionized public workers to the next.

Why, without the “Wisconsin 14,” kids will be told, mom and dad would have had to struggle the way the chumps in private employee unions do.

There’s tourism gold waiting to be mined in that kind of hagiography. Imagine visiting Rockford and sitting at the very same table where that
moron accused Republicans of disrupting the democratic process by not letting him vote by phone — after he’d fled Wisconsin.

More details here

Bottom line, the Liberal/Progressives have a very warped sense of reality. This is what the Cowardly 14 represents and explains why children ought not grow up to be Liberals.

What ever happened to that :Larry Sinclair guy who claimed to have sex with Obama?

The National Enquirer reports that politico prankster JON STEWART pushes the envelope with spoof Twitter account @gayobama detonating the social networking platform as the internet implodes with controversy. He's "half-black, half-white, and all SAMANTHA!" as Twitter overnight sensation, @gayobama, amassed thousands of followers after Jon Stewrat proclaimed it to the world on his Comedy Central Daily Show last night.

Stewart quipped on the show, "The President's stand against gay marriage has long frustrated gay Obama followers."Stewart was reffing President Obama's decision earlier that the Justice Department would no longer enforce the Defense of Marriage Act from1996.

Steward quickly clarified, "By which I mean, gay Democrats, not followers of GayObama, my parody Twitter feed."Within minutes the page went from zero to over 3,000 followers, as Stewart predicted it would.Meanwhile, President Obama has yet to Tweet comment.

I usually don’t print whole stories, but this one is hilarious.
The Daily Mail reports that a woman accused of attacking a police officer with a sex toy has claimed she was defending herself.

Carolee Bildsten, 57, was arrested in November for attacking the officer with a 'clear, rigid feminine pleasure device'
at her home in Gurnee, Illinois.

She claimed she reached for the implement after the officer startled her when she went into her bedroom, but did not hit him.

'I got a little bit afraid. I got scared,' she told the Gurnee Tribune.

'The only thing in my sock drawer besides my socks and my cash was a dildo.'

Bildsten, a former dietician, was arrested at her home after failing to pay her bill in a restaurant.

She said she had gone to Joe's Crab Shack on November 9, but when she came to pay her bill she realised she had left her credit cards and cash at home.
'I sheepishly told the bartender that I didn't have any money with me but that I lived nearby, so I was going to run home and get money,' she told the newspaper.

She called a taxi, but when it did not arrive she began walking home - despite having a broken foot.

It was during the walk home that she fell over and the police officer found her at the side of the road.

He told her to pay the bill or be arrested and drove her home so she could get her money.

Once there, she went to get cash from her sock drawer when the officer startled her.

She claims she never attacked the officer, but raised the sex toy to defend herself.

The officer then grabbed her arm and arrested her.

'I did not assault him. I'm not guilty of that. I simply was defending myself,' she added.

Bildsten will appear in court tomorrow in Waukegan.

She said she planned to plead not guilty to assaulting a police officer.

She added that she paid her restaurant bill the next day.

Rawsthorne is talking with a media group about syndicating the series to newspapers in 2011.  In the meantime, Diversity Lane was mostly seen on the internet...until now.

This month, Rawsthorne will launch a new "best of" book of Diversity Lane cartoons.  The glossy, 241-page coffee table book is sure to anger liberals and delight conservatives of all ages.  The book is also called Diversity Lane: A Liberal Family Saga and can be ordered at Amazon or through thewww.diversitylane.com website.

More Gipper's Greatest features -here-

The dumb mainstream media of course made nothing of this congressman’s assessment that the island of Guam could “cap size” due to too many people living on it.
What’s hilarious about this video is how the Navy admiral keeps a straight face through out Rep Johnson’s questioning. I bet he was saying to himself, “Is this guy a freaking idiot or what?”

Congressman Johnson was re-elected to the House this past mid term. That doesn't say much for some of the people in Georgia.

Self-righteous nag Michael Bloomberg is spending taxpayer money to protect New Yorkers from their lunch yet again...

no problem tho with an appalling victory mosque to be built right on the ashes of Ground Zero -funded by terrorists- and named after the Muslim capital of conquered Spain... makes sense!

But in the name of fiscal discipline, he's only blowing $130K of city money on Operation Chicken Noodle... we'll be picking up the tab for the rest:

New York Post:

Mayor Bloomberg's latest health campaign -- cutting salt intake -- has targeted soup as one of the big sodium offenders to be taken down with new city ads. The ads, which will be plastered on subways for the next two months, feature a half-opened can of soup with a geyser of salt spewing from the top and forming a heap around the can.

Trying to put fear into the hearts of salt-aholics, the ads will warn that excessive sodium "can lead to heart attack and stroke" and list average amounts of salt in various foods, such as salad dressing and frozen pizza.

....

The campaign costs $370,000 -- $130,000 of which comes from city taxpayers. The rest is covered by the federal government, a city Department of Health spokeswoman said.

It's not hard to see how such a misguided control-freak with an affinity for spending money we don't have on liberal vanity programs might find an ally in Barack Obama... but somehow, they didn't quite hit-it-off... seems Dear Leader just doesn't play well with others:

The Caucus:

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg of New York apparently made some not-so-nice remarks about President Obama to a fellow billionaire, Rupert Murdoch, who passed it along to an Australian newspaper.

The mayor allegedly said that Mr. Obama was the most “arrogant man” he had ever met, according to Mr. Murdoch — that despite having been invited to play golf with the president on Martha’s Vineyard this summer...

Bloomberg may be a bit of an odd duck... but  he surely knows people -and arrogance- when he sees it. And just consider the strength of that statement: how many people do you think this billionaire/celebrity/mayor has met over the last 50 years...?

We sure could use a break from the unrelenting bad news this week. A lone, unelected judge in CA, an openly gay judge in San Francisco no less, has taken it upon himself to reverse 5000 years of accepted law. Great commentary on the blogs this morning, particularly at Eye of Polyphemus (did you know Jaime is a lawyer?) and Trestin Meacham.

Every dog has his day and the left is popping champagne corks this week. Enjoy it while it lasts, Bozos. You have been poking and offending the formerly silent American majority for well over a year now in your "progressive-socialist-fest". NOvember is coming and you will see what the consequences are. Nobody in this generation will EVER forget what you did when you had unfettered power. And if we know what's good for this nation we will chronicle your misdeeds into history books so our children's children will be similarly well-informed. My best advice to would-be socialists is to move to a country that already has the system you idolize. Stop trying to force it down our throats.

Now, back to the fun part. I saw a couple of pictures on twitter links yesterday. I hope you enjoy them:

The first pic is an anti-theft sandwich bag, perfect for use in the office:

I have always been inappropriately amused by limericks. In my senior year of high school we made up a number of them on the long bus ride for our senior trip to Baja. This is an excellent collection:
