While the imam promoting the bad idea of the century -a mega-mosque at Ground Zero- has publicly declared that he seeks to “bring Shariah to America.”...  sounds like fun



As this new ad (below) from the Center for Security Policy makes abundantly clear, Muslim followers of Shariah law have long built mosques -to flaunt their victories- on the most cherished and sacred sites of the peoples they have conquered... 

...on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, at Constantinople’s St. Sophia Basilica (now Istanbul), and in Cordoba, Spain, the capital of the occupying Moors’ Islamic kingdom. 

Many Hindu and Buddhist temples also were destroyed in Asia and now lay underneath prominent mosques. These are the “facts on the ground” of Islamic conquest and religious supercessionism. 

To be fair, one must acknowledge that this is exactly what Constantine the Great and later Roman emperors did, after considerable bloodletting, when they replaced pagan temples with Christian churches. The Spanish in the New World also built many churches on the sites of Mayan, Aztec and Inca temples.... 

Militant supercessionism has no place in the modern world, and should be seen for what it is: an ancient handmaiden of conquest that should be banished to the dustbin of history... 

Islamic triumphalism has a very long and brutal history. The Dome of the Rock represents the first stop on Islam’s 1400 year path of conquest. Today the dual paths of terrorism and stealth jihad are making great inroads worldwide. 

Most New Yorkers and Americans are only just waking up to Islam’s accelerating push to implant Sharia law in western countries as well as large areas of Africa and Asia. 



The controversy of the mosque at ground zero has alerted Americans to how Islamic totalitarian Sharia law dictates world domination and the fact that radical islam must be opposed by free people...

I don't know how I missed this story in February. This pretty well settles the question about the "peaceful" American muslims. That would be about 2% of American mosques. Emphasis added.

Apostasy killing of former Muslims could become widespread in the United States if the U.S. government and Americans don't "wake up," a panel of three former Muslims said on Capitol Hill Thursday.

The talk, hosted by three members of the new civil rights organization Former Muslims United, marked the first public appearance as a self-proclaimed "apostate" of Iranian journalist Amil Imani, one of the founders of the group. Imani and the panel's two other speakers, authors Nonie Darwish and Wafa Sultan, told the audience that ingrained American religious and ethnic tolerance and myths about Islam are combining to gravely threaten the West.

"Shi'a radical Islam and Wahhabism is coming to this country," Imani said. "There are 6,000 mosques in the United States now. All the money [we] put into gasoline comes back here and is used in the teaching of hate, violence, etc., etc." in American mosques, he said.

Sultan, who said she regularly gets death threats and emails from people saying they will cut off her fingers and rape her daughters because she left Islam, said it is merely a myth that Islamic terrorists misinterpret 'true' Islam for nefarious purposes.

Westerners "don't want to judge anybody based on their [religion]," Sultan said, "[But] Islam is not a religion. Islam is a very dangerous political ideology. ... There is no such thing as radical Islam and regular Islam or spiritual Islam. ...There is only one Islam."

In the fall of 2009 FMU sent 111 pledges to Muslim organizations in the United States affirming the right of Muslims to leave Islam and not be punished or killed. (Shari'a, Muslim law, calls on Muslims to kill those who convert or otherwise leave the faith.) The document asked recipients to sign and return the pledge to FMU. Just two groups did.

The response is proof of a silent, creeping tolerance in the West for radical ideology, a development that augurs very badly for a free society, panel members said.

And on that note, I am sad to say that Pamela Geller has issued a plea for help. The death threats against her have ramped up, and she needs to increase her security. As she operates on a "shoestring", that means she needs our help. If you can, please help Pamela. She has been in front of this issue for years.

It is now a steady stream of threats, intimidation and violent screeds.

Pamela Geller is amazing. She is a gladiator on the world scene, fighting for freedom, justice and the American Way. Undeterred by jihadi death threats, she very kindly paused from signing her new book, the Post-American Presidency, to pose with me for a Blackberry picture.

To that end, she posted a lovely bikini vlog (video blog) on Christmas Eve 2007 thanking the troops and exercising her right to wear a bikini and have her say. As she said, if she tried to do this in Europe, she would have been arrested. {content warning}

This is the part of the message we need to get straight. A portion of one of the planes crashed through the roof of the building that was purchased by the mosque proponents. That makes it PART of Ground Zero. And one of the reasons WHY the proponents bought the property in the first place. SO "iconic", SO cool!

The Burlington Coat Factory building, 45 Park Place, which was severely damaged by that part of one of the 9/11 planes, is Ground Zero, as is the former World Trade Center site. That's why the Islamic supremacists want that building, and only that building, and why they have rebuffed Governor Paterson's offer to help them move elsewhere, and why they persist in their plans despite a rising chorus of public disapproval and public anguish that shows up their claims to be "building bridges" with this mega-mosque.

If you are wondering why Obama jumped into the fray, I think I understand. As Pamela Geller said in Los Angeles Monday night, Obama already got what he wanted from us. He is and will always be President 44. We served our purpose.

I walked away from the talk last night in Los Angeles by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer feeling grateful. Sure Geller and Spencer have a world-view that would shock many, but as a blogger I cannot say I was shocked. We are locked in an ideological war whether we choose to acknowledge it or not. The left wants to control our freedom of speech through new "laws" and our methods of production through punishing taxes. The jihadists want to control our freedom through conquest. The world is now and has always been a dangerous place. Ronald Reagan believed in Peace Through Strength. Strength worked back in the 1980s and it would work now, except we have a weak president who often sides with our enemies. One thing I didn't fully understand until last night is how serious an act of treason it was for Obama to support the UN resolution against anti-islamic hate speech. When hate speech can (and is, in Europe) be misconstrued to mean mere reporting on jihadist activities, our God-given rights to free speech, as documented in our Constitution, are in grave jeopardy. Obama sides with our foes against our Constitution, which he has sworn to protect and defend against all enemies. Of course, the Constitution has always been a barrier to any would-be tyrant. He seeks to take more of our liberties and more and more as time passes. God bless America and God help us get through Obama's reign. We need His help and we need the help and efforts of all Americans who believe in freedom. Keep blogging, tweeting and being active in our communities and on school boards. This struggle is real and the outcome will determine what kind of nation our children live in. Do we give them Ronald Reagan's shining city on a hill? Or something else.

Most importantly I want to thank you and thank all of our brave allies in the blogosphere for pushing through the struggle which can become personal at times. Particularly Geller and Spencer have received violent threats based on their blogging and public advocacy, and yet they persevere. Donald Douglas has been reported to his boss at work for his blogging efforts and continues to struggle with those attacks. My own blog was called to the attention of the divorce court in the custody battle for my children. The struggle becomes personal.

And thank you to LL, a staunch ally and blogging friend. I love the new header he made for this blog with the new title *American Perspective*. He had made the old MAinfo header as well. His piece from last night is important reading. He says that we are now past the tipping point and that war between Israel and Iran is inevitable, because of Iran's nuclear ambitions. And that this would necessarily involve our troops because American bases in the middle east would undoubtedly come under fire by Iran. Our weak, quasi-muslim president practically invites attack.

And yet I am hopeful. The spirit of the Israelis under Benjamin Netanyahu is indomitable. And our American Spirit is a rock-solid force. We will not submit to tyranny.

Bravo, Pamela. You are a role model for us all.

Paypal cried "Uncle" today, asking Pamela Geller if she would please reinstate their button on her Atlas Shrugs blog and other websites. Geller declined, and asked some questions about Paypal's policies and oversight. Geller is particularly concerned about censorship of smaller blogs.

And, of course, the Muslims of CAIR had been dancing in the streets.

Paypal has no answer why it continues to work with Imam Al Awlaki, the Imam who launched many terrorists against the U.S., including 9/11, Nidal Hassan, Times Square bomber, Christmas Day Underwear bomber, among others.

Pamela Geller is now working with GPal, a site that is more tolerant. She says the "G" stands for guns. I wonder if the Soldier's Angels that The Kid mentioned have found GPal. GPal would be ideal for them.

I'm really bothered by what happened to Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs yesterday. Did you know that Paypal told her to stop using their service on her websites? That they claim she promotes "hate speech"? I beg to differ. She publishes the hate speech of bad guys, radicals and Islamofascists so that people can be educated about what these groups really stand for.

Worse yet, Geller had the temerity to use her Paypal donations to fund a bus ad campaign in New York City that was WAY too successful. "FATWA on your head?" I love that! She gave disenchanted muslims a way to contact people for help if they wanted to leave the religion without being MURDERED. What is hateful about providing shelter to those undergoing religious persecution? And she was asked the question several times about how she was paying for the ads, and answered "Paypal". This smacks of the same kind of censorship I suffered when BlogHer pulled their ad from my site based on a post about Islam.

Thank goodness we still have free speech in America. That Paypal wants to punish Geller for hers makes me think less of them. Geller is still accepting donations via checks in the mail. I think her bus ads are a great idea and worthy of support.
