Doesn't she look great on the cover of November's Vogue? She has always been lovely, but now that she is maturing, she is approaching what I call Full Flower. I am personally a bit past that stage, with some petals drying around the edges, but I can still recognize it.

As I am looking at more pictures of her, I realize that I like the one that looks like a snapshot the best.  She has naturally full lips, healthy shiny hair and beautiful brown eyes.  This gal just doesn't need that much makeup.  Oops, on second look, maybe she should put a bra on. 8-0

And her life took a turn for the interesting when she found herself dating a person she now refers to as a "fraud".  Umm, yes, she would call that a "deal-breaker".

Carla Bruni

After that rule 5 warmup I had to post more Carla Bruni. Here she is with Nicholas Sarkozy.

And this picture settles whatever questions we might have had about the Leaders' Wives pic earlier this week. The lady on the left is Carla Bruni, and the lady on the right is Princess Letizia of Spain.

I'm sorry. I don't normally post things about Obama's better half, but this picture has me laughing SO HARD! Let's consider this a Rule 5 warmup. Or cool-down, depending....

Pamela Geller is amazing. She is a gladiator on the world scene, fighting for freedom, justice and the American Way. Undeterred by jihadi death threats, she very kindly paused from signing her new book, the Post-American Presidency, to pose with me for a Blackberry picture.

To that end, she posted a lovely bikini vlog (video blog) on Christmas Eve 2007 thanking the troops and exercising her right to wear a bikini and have her say. As she said, if she tried to do this in Europe, she would have been arrested. {content warning}

Our fellow reactionary pundit Robert "Bob" Belvedere is well-known for his regular posts of sexy retro-babes...

Think "JFK bait" and you'll get the concept. And as any regular reader of The Camp of the Saints (an otherwise serious conservative New Media outlet) will tell you, he likes 'em with some curves.

His features of 50s and 60s starlets run under the theme of The Don't Make 'em Like That Anymore are actually quite educational- I hadn't even heard of half of them, but many had an interesting part to play in the celebrity society of their day.

And while this blog does not participate in the "Rule 5" babe-blogging/linkfests, many do... and  Bob's posts are the only ones you could really call "classy"- no foul-mouthed trash like Lindsay Lohan here...

Alas, as of late he's been veering a bit in selection process... particularly with some of the modern-era ones.  What do you think? Check 'em out, his main page is teeming with honeys of yesteryear in full Technicolor:

Butt, are they fat? (sorry)

You decide... then take our poll:

Then add TCOTS to your faves...

Belvedere is a deep-thinker with a real refreshing sense of humor,
we could use a few more like him on our side...

Rule 5 blogging brings another one of the most beautiful women in the world. Grace Kelly.

Did you know Alfred Hitchcock adored her? After she left Hollywood, he went through one blonde leading actress after another trying to find another Grace Kelly. But ladies like this don't come around too often.

Additionally, check out Am Power's Swimsuits.  And theospark's totties.

Happy Rule 5 Saturday, per linkmaster Smith:

Most people collect shells on the beach. Paulina gets creative:

There is no shortage of wonderful pictures of Paulina, let me assure you:

My point here is that Porzikova has perfect bone structure. Cheekbones, jawline...perfection!

Thanks for Donald Douglas of American Power and Theospark for teaching me about Rule 5 Blogging.

I hope everybody is having a great weekend. Here is my rule 5 post.

Who can forget Brooke Shields' famous "Nothing comes between me and my Calvins" ad campaign:

I loved that Brooke and her mother, from the beginning, forbid anyone to pluck her naturally abundant eyebrows. Why mess with perfection.

And of course there was the movie, Blue Lagoon:

She is still beautiful today, as you see her pictured with Stanley Tucci last December.

Remember to check out the Rule 5 links tomorrow at The Other McCain, and the political cartoons at Theospark and AmericanPower.

In a good faith effort at Rule 5 blogging, I am presenting this picture of a pretty girl. And since the movie Predators was released this weekend, it seems an appropriate tie-in.

Predators are a timeless theme, really. Look at this sequel to Pride and Prejudice. I understand why our ancestors tried to keep this quiet...
I hope my efforts meet with the approval of our Rule 5 expert bloggers. If not, you can always click here to see a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Teaser or the lovely Nikki Visser.
